Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@millridge5k.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The 5K is primarily for our neighborhood community, but you’re welcome to invite close friends or family members to join us.

Registration helps us plan ahead and make sure there are enough medals for everyone. While neighbors are welcome to join in without registering, the first 100 names that are pre-registered are guaranteed a medal.

The event takes place from 8:00 to 9:30 AM. Start right from your own driveway, either join in as a group comes by or head out on your own to walk, run, or bike the neighborhood loop as many times as you’d like. It’s casual, self-paced, and a fun way to connect with neighbors along the way.

Yes! The event will take place rain or shine. Please dress accordingly for the weather and plan ahead for your comfort and safety. If it's really raining hard, we can do it Sunday.

Lol - No, this is a fun neighborhood event, not an officially certified course. That said, I may look into getting it USATF-certified one day (mostly just for fun and bragging rights), but it provides no added benefit to what we are doing.

Not this time! We’re keeping it casual and fun for the neighborhood. I may look into getting it officially USATF-sanctioned in the future (because I’m a nerd) mostly just for the novelty of saying our little event is “official.” But the real goal will always be to have fun and hang out together!

No problem, this might be the only time where not finishing still gets you home. Besides, when was the last time a 5k started and ended right in your own driveway? Worst case, you get some fresh air, wave to a few neighbors, and call it a win.

Absolutely, your kitchen is the aid station, and your bathroom is the porta-potty. Stop in whenever you need to refuel or refresh!

Sorry you’ll miss it! Good news though, We plan on doing this twice a year. Once in the Spring, conce in the fall..  Bookmark this site to stay up to date - or join the Mill Ridge Farms Facebook group.
